The (May) Ride 2008

This is a repeat of The Ride 2008 but on Memorial Day on May 24th to the 26th so the weather should be better, although in January it was beautiful with only minor rains on the last day. Take a look at their site and follow their advice (most of it anyway). Many thanks to The Ride 2008!

Our route is a slightly modified version, especially around Monterrey. There is one section that the map places us on the freeway (near Marina State Beach towards the end) however we will take a bike path that parallels it (and google maps can't trace a route on it).

We may get a sag car but don't count on it. We still have to figure out the hotels especially the one in Morro Bay. For the time being assume they will be the same as in The Ride 2008.
